I heart figs and goat cheese!!

Get ready to wow your guest’s palates with fresh figs wrapped in prosciutto stuffed with goat cheese!

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Slice an X on the top of the fresh fig, stuff with small amount goat cheese, then wrap the fig with a thin slice of prosciutto. Place figs in a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 min or until the prosciutto is beginning to slightly crisp.

Yes!!! It’s as easy as that!!!

Easy and yum! I make sure to cut the plastic bag at the corner super small so the stream of goat cheese coming out doesn't fill the fig too fast. (Oh, why don't I invest in a pastry bag with proper attachments?) Last night I stuffed squash blossoms with ricotta/herb mix and made a huge mess because I forgot this technique.

Also, my camping version of this dish is to wrap dates in bacon and throw them on the grill. Eat goat cheese while you're waiting. :-)
